I was introduced to welding at the age of 10 by my father, and that early start sparked a lifelong passion. I chose to pursue welding not just because I love the craft, but to provide a better life for my family.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve gained experience in a variety of industries, working in fabrication shops, food processing facilities, rubber plants, papermills, and power plants. Each job has given me new skills and insights into different facets of the trade.
When I’m not welding, I enjoy spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping.
What I enjoy most about teaching at Western Welding Academy is watching the lightbulb go off for students when they finally grasp a concept. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing that moment when it all clicks.
One thing that sets Western Welding Academy apart is the level of access students have to our instructors. On any given day, a student can interact with 10-15 different instructors, which is something I’ve never seen at other facilities.
